Easter is just around the corner.  This is when our Lord Jesus Christ was sentence to die. He was beaten, a Crown of thorns placed upon his head. He had to carry his on Cross to a place called Golgotha ( a place of sckulls). He was placed on that Cross, Crucified, for you and me. For our sins he was tortured, sentenced to die a cruel, cruel death.  Then he was placed in a tomb and a Great Stone was rolled to the Sepulcher and a Guard was placed to watch. On the Third day Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to the sepulcher. There was a great Earth Quake and a Angle  from the Lord descened from Heaven and rolled the stone away. Jesus was not there. He had risen like he said he would. In Matthew 20:17- And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said,
20:1- "Behold, we go up to Jersalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condem him to death,
20:19 " And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
